What is this eel doing in my tank?!

eels can go months without eating so if he goes on a fast then dont get concerned

yea thats what i've read is that they go into a "hibernation" period where they won't eat for a while, being hes tiny and our petco here SUCKS (to put it nicely) i don't believe the girl that told my dad he eats everyday, he said they put in a guppy and it gobbled it up as soon as she stuck the thing down there, i figured if they really fed him every morning he wouldn't of gone after it so quick, my dad said it was instant.

and its been 2 days since hes been there so we'll see how things go!

if theres an adjective to describe eels its "trooper" cause they can withstand pretty much anything...
