very cloudy

I added live sand to my new saltwater 125 gal tank. Its been 24 hrs and it is very cloudy from the sand. I have the filter running and the protien skimmer but looks like the tank is getting the goo stuck to the sides and not much is going into the skimmer. Was perfectly clear when it was just salt water.

it will just take time ,i would kill the skimmer and filter personnaly, but you can leave it on it will take longer to clear especially in a 125

I would just leave everything running. It may take more than a few days bit everything will settle
