In general:
low light = zoanthids, leathers, mushrooms, other softies
medium light = LPS (frogspawn, hammer, bubble, torch, galaxea, blastomussa, etc)
high light = clams, anemones, SPS (any of the "hard" corals)
There are some corals that cross categories (like SPS montipora usually does well in medium light), but those are good guidelines to follow. If you have to buy just one book on corals, and you can only buy one, this is the book you should get:
