Trumpets growing

I posted a couple months ago about my Trumpets dying off. I actually had to cut some of the almost-dead ones out. My wife has feed them almost every day since and they are starting to split into two. It seems the trumpets and a lot of corals will not grow but only survive under light. They grow only when fed. My Green Star polyps on the other hand they grow under light only.

I think that's the case for most LPS corals. In my tank, they'll grow, but they'll grow very slowly unless fed. That's the main reason why I target feed all my LPS corals every other day. The ones that eat (brains, candy canes and acans, mostly) multiply like crazy.
