Hi treadwater! Did those corals come as hitch hikers? Your fish look really good! Looks like you're off to a great start.

more pics...

found the cleaners hangin out together so i figured ild shoot them again...those 2 really are inseperable and love to clean the Tang.

got a better pic of the leather and took a shot of the red mushroom as well as one of the urchins, a few dusters and polyps which were LR stow - aways

the pics seem a bit washed out ( white ) due to flash from lower grade camera

thanks. iv tryed hard to make little caves and areas for the fish to be able to swim the full tank. tryed not to close areas off by too much rock in one area. its just dawned on me i dont have a full tank photo yet.. DUH!!! , il have to get one.

the fish really like zippin in and out and around pretty much every area of the tank, from front to back

full tank shot... :) ... not a lot going on in there yet ...workin on it

got a Green Star Polyp this evening, shes all closed up for now...i grab a pic of her when she descides to come out and play

spent a few nickels at the LFS today. grabbed a couple Chromis ( blue ) for some moveing color in the tank ( wife likes them )

bought this Torch, a wee little scooter and an orange Richordia allthough the flash washed out the color a tad :grumble: il see if i can get a better pic next time around

also found a few arms sticking out of the Green Star we got a while back. seems we have a hitcher in the version of a starfish. unknown what species of yet.. real small and retreats very quickly under the rock when you go lookin for it. il have to grab a night shot

Very nice additions...sounds like you have a serpent star in your rocks.

im betting your right Smitty. i looked around a few places at the serpent star , the pics i have found identicaly match the arms color and banding to what i have seen of mine.

great looking tank..as an advice , the torch should be mounted on the rocks..cause it extensions can be harmed by the sand..

Thats gonna grow into a great looking reef Treadwater.
And Rigos right on the torch. It needs to be up on the rocks so the sand don't irritate it when its opened up.

you bet the torch will be in the rocks.. i plunked it where it was after acclimation. il move it right away.

found a few more night time critters,
i gotta grab a few more recent photos of whats going on and post them.

thanks for the input though, great to see someones watching what im up to :) just in case i do something someone catches i shouldnt be :)

one of the things iv been activly looking into is a way to get a sump / fuge runing on my tank. looks like i may have to build another base for the tank. the one i have now will only fit about a 13 to 15G sump

so if i build another base and sump. il post up the build as i go along with pics of course

Very nice looking tank, Tread. I love my Torch. It's probably my favorite. I have mine half way up and in low flow. Great pics ...
