Tons of unwanted alge. HELP

I have tons of unwanted green algae. I have put five snails in my tank. Please look at the photos attached and see how my tank looks. And those photos were taken after I had worked on the take for some time. I am in need please don't hesitate To ask all the questions you guys need to in order to help get rid of the algae If photos are not viewable please let me know when I will upload them again

You need to clean the tank.
I'm suprised that copper band is alive and your tank is way to small for it. When was the last time you cleaned it?
