i bought a coralife timer center and cant get it to work right.does anyone have one of these that can explain how to work it.the blue outlets work all the time.maybe is me or i got a bad one.h:frustrat:mmm

I got the double one with the dials. I went through 3 of them. They could start my halide ballast.

The yellow are the daylights and the blue are the night. they come on whent the day shuts off. the white are always on.

The whites are on all the time.
The blue and yellows are opposite each other. Whatever you set one to, the other will be set to the opposite. So if you set the yellows to run from 8 am to 5 pm, the blue will run from 5 pm to 8 am. If your blues are on all the time, I'd think you have the yellows set to be off all the time.

this what i have.the yellows come on at 8 am and off at 9 pm.but the lights go out at 7 pm and back on at 9 pm.so i shut the blue off and it still happens.so i checked and it seems the blue is always on.

You can't shut the blue off. It will always be on opposite of the yellows.

now i see.but if the yellow is set till 9pm and goes out out 7pm why is it doing that.

I have no idea about that one. Those timers are not known to be especially reliable. I had to reset mine once a week because it would lose so much time.

There were two seperate timers on mine. It had one for the blue and one for the yellow. Is yours a dual timer or single.

I use $8 digital timers that I got from Home Depot. They work just fine.

i just use timmers that you plug in they work great and i can set each one how i want it.
