If you read my posts in the water chemistry forum you will see the problems I am having with my 55g tank. I pulled all the remaining snails out and gave them the sniff test. (About puked a few times) The ones that didnt stink I moved to a large bowl of water out of my 180g tank. Before I moved them they were all closed up and not moving, how ever after moving to a bowl of water from my 180 they are all moving around and not closed up laying on the bottom. Am I going to be able to keep them alive in the bowl long enough to fix my 55? What should be my next step with them?

I bet they could do well in a bucket for quite a while. Just put a piece of an algae sheet in there for them to eat and maybe a small powerhead or bubble line to get some gas exchange.
