Epic Fail

One of my 1" bulk heads was twisted or something it would tighten up but with the slightest bump it would become loose. This is the only thing that stands between me and getting a leak test on these guys. I was not willing to risk that it would work today, but in the back of my mind one day it may fail. So if the store is open tomorrow I will replace it and finish the pipeing.

Ok that maybe a little over dramatic, here is the good news. We will start on Thursday when things came in the mail.
here is what I came home.

all open and waiting to be installed

and two veiws running lights at 10%( hard to get a FTS)

and a look at the plumbing I got done.

I have a MP60 for the reef side. But the test run looks like you are right. Even with it full flow it barely gets to the other side. However I did not have much time to play with it, maybe if I dial it in it would work. Plan B is to move some of the korallias(sp) from the other tanks to spot the flow. It will be a work in process. This has been my biggest concern for this build was flow.

Now for the minor update. There is rock in those tanks.

I got the rocks cleaned today and the tanks leak tested everything is good and the water is saltwater. Going to be a slow process filling these things up?:grumble:

Ok, so we are filling with water...still going to be a while not even half way and I am running the ro 24/7. Well it hasn't been the seven yet but I am sure it will be that long. Going to try and post a video I took of the scape let me know what you think, I still have time to move thing before I add the sand. The video is only 30sec and taken with my phone so it is not very good plus I had a sneeze so some good camera shake. Hope this link works other wise I need advice how to make it go. Thanks in advance.
