Tank questions

Hey guys im looking at getting a 300g tank and a 150g sump, the sump is custom and being built right now and im not sure what type of pump i should use, i am looking at using 2 pumps and i need to find out what pump so i can get the bulkheads drilled into the sump

Do you guys think 2 reeflo snapper hybrids are over kill?

:) I tend to have back luck with electrical equipment and this would help haha



The resone for 2 pumps is my 300g tank is custom and i have 2 return bulkheads in the display tank at the far ends of the tank, as well as im trying to get 6 to 9 times the turn over, Im still new at this so im just not sure if this will be to much over an over kill.

Look into a mag drive maybe...you have to take into consideration the overflow gph, and the height of return line/head loss.

The mag drives also use less power then most other pumps. They can be converted to external type setups as well.
