tank cycling

First week of cycle should I run my light and skimmer. Powerheads are on - sump is running perfect with refugium. I don't plan on ever turning refugium light off. My Leds are being ordered next week. AI SOL units. 5" deep sand bed. When I have ran my MRC skimmer it was Very foamy. My light is a freshwater unit just to get by till next week.

Run everything and turn the fuge light off on a timer. Run it opposite of the display tank light.

Actually there is no need to run your lights, but I would run the skimmer so it can break in
