will sun coral burn under metal halide? if its not in a cave/shaded somehow...

How far underneath it? If its low down in the tank, it won't burn. It just might not come out as often as you'd like.

thats fine i wanna time it to come out at 6 just after the actinics are off.. and its a ten gallon with 150 watt halide. allll the way in the sand of course.

its black sun coral if it makes a difference.
