Sun Coral

SeaBee

Ha Ha Thats Funny!
I have this sun coral now about 2 weeks. It is closed all day and opens only a few polyps each night. I try to spur it on with plankton about an hour before I need to go to bed to feed it. Today I moved it onto the sand bed under a shelf to place it in shadow all the time. I just wanted to know how to feed this thing, will it open if it gets hungry? Also, what to feed it? I alternate between blood worms and mysis. Thanks.

Frozen cyclops and rotifers would be good.So would some Brightwell Aquatics zooplanktons.

I have allways started about an hour to an hour and a half by squirting just the liquid from the frozen food over the coral this will encourage it to open once it does feed it what ever frozen food that you feed your fish, mysis, brine, cyclops, cyclopeeze, etc. Once it gets use to this it should start opening for you at the same time every day.
