Sumps first chamber

I posted this the other day but it was in a huge post so maybe no-one bothered to read it.

Should I be concerned with putting a small powerhead in the first chamber of my sump to avoid bacteria building up from water that never makes it out or something like that.

No, I wouldn't worry about it. The water in your sump will get moved around quite a bit.

+1 Biff, you may see some sediment build up on the bottom after a while though. You can suck that out when doing water changes if you feel the need.
