storeing up my water

we will be getting ready to move into out new house very soon and I want to start to store up water using a LG garbage can, I want to take my water out of my tank during water changes, place it in the garbage can so that way I will have as much water as I can out of my 55 gal so I have it to place into my new 90 gal tank with the 55 gal sump and 40 gal frag tank.. should I heat the water while its in the LG can and keep the water moving?? it will be in this for about a month or more

I would keep circulation going in it (that's the most important) and it would be best to keep it at around 75* but not absolutely necessary.

Keep it aerated and then heat it back up right before you use it.
