Reefing newb
I got several sponge filters from a person locally along with air pumps that I am going to use in quarantine tanks. The sponges came from freshwater tanks but have been dry for a while. Anyways, was wondering how I can make sure they are clean and sterile so I won't introduce anything bad into the tanks. Obviously water helps, but was wondering if anything else would work?
