FOODS AND FEEDING - Meaty and vegetable foods, marine algae, Spirulina. Feed at least 3 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Not suitable for the reef aquarium.
CAPTIVE CARE - Usually but not always ignores stinging anemones and mushroom anemones, accepts most types of fish foods, finely chopped seafoods, baby brine shrimp, frozen preparations, flake food, a great deal of its diet must include algae. Has a small mouth and may have trouble ingesting larger pieces of food such as adult brine shrimp. Initially shy, house with peaceful tankmates, can be kept in pairs in larger tanks and with other butterflyfishes.
