skunk cleaner shrimp

I bought a cleaner shrimp and he is really cool to watch,I noticed when i got home his atenae was broken. This morning I woke up and thought he died but he just molted,When i looked at him his atenae was not broken.I didnt know they did that...hmm

Yep, they will molt periodically. It can be pretty scary at first. Most people think that their new crab or shrimp is dead.

Mine molts about once a month and scares the hell out of me every time

Yea, mine jumps on to my Tang when he's asleep and cleans his gills and everything. He even claens around my fingernails when I let him. My shrimp all molt on the full moon, like clockwork.
