Skimmer

I just took my Remora C down and cleaned it after 3 months. I just wanted to know how often some of you clean your skimmer. Mine has this injector on it that gets gunked up, like a fuel injector. The rest of it was ok. I plan on moving this down to my mini-sump once that is ready, perhaps this week.

I clean mine every 2-3 months or when I think it's not doing what it should.

I clean my skimmer (empty the cup and clean the neck) every weekend. If I don't, the collection cup would overflow into the sump.

I clean the cup and the neck once a week. The rest of it (body, pumps, etc) once a year or so.
