would I need a very powerful skimmer for a frag tank

i feel you cant go wrong with that there is always going to some kind of organics in the water to be pulled out

i agree with daugherty, in that i dont think you can get a skimmer too big for your tank but what i will say is if its a frag tank with no fish then you dont really need a skimmer, youd be better off running carbon since i think your putting softies in there

So I'm ok with out a skimmer for now, I have a smaller skimmer on the 55 gal tank that I have now but when I up grade to my new 90 gal tank I will take this little one off and use it on my frag tank then.
