Setting up your Reef Ready Tank

Hi,

I'm so close yet so far! I have setup my first reef ready tank except I don't know how to set your overflow tubes.

How do you set the tube that lets water leave the tank? I have a up side down "J" tube and as of now I have the entire thing under water except the very top where the air hole is. Does any know a good video or some reading?

I obviously don't see your exact system, but you need to start the syphon...the way mine works, you just take a small flexible hose, ans suck the air out of the pipe, that will start the syphon. Maybe yours is similar.

What PRC said. Put the U tube in its intended position, slide an airline into the tube from the *back* compartment, fill the part of the overflow box that is in the tank with water, and then suck it through the U tube until the siphon is created. Should take two seconds, if that.
