I cannot figure out how to have both a filter sock and my scrubber in 1 sump with 1 pump... Does anyone know how this can be done without building a box for the scrubber above the sump?

Its a high micron filter, and I like to feed A LOT :D
If you say the reason its not necessary is because it may filter out food I dont think it will at this size. Im simply trying to take out the really large crap that plagues my tank...

Well you could get one LARGE pump and use a T and ball valves. One for the scrubber and one for the return. I am assuming the you are using your overflow to feed the scrubber.
That way you can run the overflow water through the sock.
