Scissortail goby

Okay i just got a scissortail what am i looking at anything i should worry about?:question:

They are jumpers like all dartfish.You may need some kind of top,eggcrate is probably to big.They eat just about any small meaty food...mysis,cyclops etc.

I have a pair of them. They are easy fish, and neat looking. They will eat pretty much anything, so your basic frozen foods will be good for it. They can be shy and hide, so if it doesn't come out right away, don't stress.

Okay thats good but what fish will bother it?

other similarly shape fish are probably the biggest threat to worry about

They are very passive fish and won't bother anyone else. But aggressive fish like clowns and damsels may bother it, and other gobies might too.

True, they are not in the family "Gobidae", but they are referred to as a goby and they share the characteristics of the gobies.

Cool fishy! Was checking them out tonight, if the LFS would have had more than one I wouldve probably made a purchase.

Yes they are cool mine dissaperred but sites say thats normal is it???

It's normal at first. If it stays hidden for more than a few days there may be trouble.

what you should do is calm down, if you dont see it after a week then you can start to panic
