One of the very first things i bought was a bright green ricodea and i couldnt get it to attach to anything for the life of me. Woke up one day and it was gone and i couldnt find it. Well i bought 5 more lbs of LR today from the gish store and when i was placeing the LR in the tank i was shakeing out some of the old ones and out comes the Ric.....it has shurnk to about the size of a dime. Not sure if its going to survive but i glued that some bitch on a piece of LR and it aint goin no where now lol....anyone ever glued a ric before? Does it have trouble splitting after being glued?

I have glued lots or ricodeas to frag plugs and rocks and have seen no adverse results. The ones I don't glue are the ones I have problems with.

That look like crap after being superglued but the ones I have recovered after a week or two.

This is how I do it. Take the ricordea and put it upside down on a towel and then dry off its foot throughly. Put a small blob of super glue directly on it and then place an upside down plug on it and let it rest there for about 30 seconds. Flip it over and blow on it until it gets hard. This whole process takes 2-3 minutes tops. Gotta work fast!
