Is there any 2 part putties I can get in a crafts store that will work in the aquarium? The stuff at the LFS seems way marked up when the same stuff seems to exist everywhere else for less.

I use Plumbers Epoxy putty from HD. It's NSF certified for use in potable water applications, so it's safe to use in our tanks too.

Are you guys talking about using this for frags, or just for whatever?

I use epoxy from Home Depot, Lowe's or Ace. All of them carry the same stuff and it only costs a couple bucks for a tube. I buy marine putty (you have to buy one that says it cures underwater) and make sure that it says it's safe for potable water.
