Does it really matter whether you put the sump in 1st or second chamber of your sump? I thought of putting a sponge and chemi pure in first chamber and then sump in the second. What are your thoughts?

How many chambers does your sump have? As long as it's not in the same section as your return pump, you'll be fine.

it will have 3 chambers. 1st chamer will be where i put sponge and chemipure. 2nd chamber will be skimmer and last chamber return pump. I haven't put in baffles yet just have the design on paper
