Powerheads

I want to know what strength power heads to get for my 50g tank. I am thinking about putting 2 or 3 powerheads in the tank and I was wondering how to rate the GPH of the heads for the tank. Do I count the GPH of the heads independantly or all together, for example if I have 2 heads rated at 450GPH do I count it as 900GPH of circulation in the tank.

Yeah, you would add the power of all power heads to get you circulation.
For 50 Gallons you would at least want anywhere from 1500 to 2000. That would 30 to 40 x the water movement. Thats my opinion

i would get two 750s and a 500 750 on each end and 500 in the middle
