What is the best size for a 10 gal reef tank?
The one I have is rated for a 20gal!
Plenty of flow, maybe too much?

too much flow is a tornado of sand inside your tank. your powerhead is just fine. point it central in your tank and you will be fine. remember, the ocean has TONS of current and the fish seem to love it. You will find that some of your fish will actually "swim" and ride the current from your powerheads, almost like an underwater treadmill.

I agree with Dr. Marco,if its not blowing the sand around then it should be okay.

most tanks have too little current. It helps to keep your algae and cyano down as well.

Docs right.The only way to have to much flow is when its keeps all your sand in suspension.
There will always be places in your tank take has less flow than others,But good strong current actually is healthier for your critters.

If that powerhead is positioned in the back corner and pointed at the front glass, I'd also say it's probably okay.
