Plates to close to each other?

Will my green and orange plate get along with each other this close? You think they might sting each other? I'm getting low on space for any new corals.

When my LFS has them for sale, they have them sitting next to each other. I wouldn't push my luck though...

Maybe I can separate them with a little shell seeing that I have limited space.

Sen, they are fine that close, I have an orange and green plate and they always seem to be touching. If they dont like it, they will move by themselves :) Dont worry bout it at all.

I would worry about the branching hammer behind them! looks a bit mean (sweeper tent)
