I was planning on plumbing my overflow lines with pvc down the back of my tank/stand and making a 90 into the back of my stand into my sump. Will those turns break my syphon?

Is this for a hang on overflow? But no, they won't affect anything.

Ya it's a hang on. Thanks Capt.
THe siphon only takes place between the skimmer box (inside the tank) and the box in the back of the tank. The siphon is broken as soon as the water hits atmospheric air after going over the tank back. Typically as it enters the drain line, or right before it hits the drain out of the box on the back of the tank. To cut down on noise and insure best flow through drain pipe two 45 degree fittings are better than one 90 fegree fitting.
