Tank is looking good and really can't lie clam is sweet.

Thanks.. I am running 6-T5's so it is actually missing a slight pop like when it was under LED's ... gets me thinking about a lighting upgrade. But in person it looks really awesome.. could not pass up the deal, paid $45 for it, it is about 5inches long.

just a quick update

Picked up a controller... Apex.. so far I really really like it!!

I was not running a heater all summer long ( removed it completely from the tank ), but now that the weather is getting cooler, I wanted to put it back. I was just way too nervious of having a tank boil !


anyway... also playing with my camera a little bit.. playing with custom white balance. Trying to get my camera to see what I see ( If that makes senese )

Forgot to put this one in... the mushroom is Huge, has to be about 4-5" when fully extended. Also, very cool to watch when it eats.

yes, it is an elephant ear mushroom... it is very big and cool to watch as it closes up while feeding, almost like a drag net on a fishing boat.
