Nitrates went to 0

so when I cycled my tank, my nitrates peaked at 20ppm...I have done 5 WC's since the end and got them down to 5ppm but it seemed to stall at that for the next 2 WC's

I put some Chaeto in my refugium maybe 5 days ago, would they work that fast??

I tested yesterday and today with both tests reading 0, I test in the same place and use the same technique every time

does it seem weird that they would just fall like that with young chaeto


I am pumped though lol

Congrats... it is possible that all your good husbandry skills( water changes, rodi water, less feedings) and the addition of cheato did the job.

Chaeto is awesome! I couldnt get mine under 5ppm for the life of me till I added the chaeto. Now, Its always 0!! :bounce: Another plus is when I half the chaeto, I get credit at my LFS!! :^:
