Newbie question

I have a 46 gallon tank that im turning into a reef tank. I just tested my calcium level in my tank. It was 400ppm. Does any one have any suggestions as to what it should be? Should i be does my tank with calcium?

400 sounds good. Unless you've got a lot of stoney corals in your tank you don't need to dose calcium. Weekly water changes will keep your calcium levels where they need to be otherwise
