New Tank Set-up Questions!!

The key to bio-balls is regular maintance.
I have them in my sump to quietin the flow some,No nitrates in the tank.
But I regularly take them out to the water hose and give them a high pressure wash.
I've heard of folks replacing em with live rock rubble.

...actually you have a good point, I need to wash my brain out with soap, something about this site that has just brought out the dirty teenager in me...and if you can refrain from making a joke about that, you're probably a better person than me :lol:
