New growth on established tank. Anyone recognize?

I found this growing this morning as I was cleaning my tank.
It appears as individual "stalks" approximately 1" in length. The center of the stalk is white, surrounding the center is a clear membrane. They appear to be soft, as the current will move them around. I am attaching a picture, hope someone can tell me what this is.

tunicates?

I thought of tunicates, however, it does not have the classic grape-like clusters. These are completely straight and flat.

There are many types and shapes....they could also be little sponges of some sort....but I still lean toward tunicates....

Looks like Spaghetti Sponge I have them growing in my tank as well as far as I know they are harmless
