i'm planning on buying the canon t3i next month once i get my 2 week holiday bonus. i'm getting from bj's they come with 2 lens EF-S 18-55mm (f/3.5-5.6 IS) lens, 55-250mm lens, Rebel gadget bag, bonus 8GB SD card, HDMI cable and tutorial DVD for $800. the canon t3 is $649 with the same package deal.

I ended up going with the EOS Rebel T3 18-55 mm IS II Digital SLR Camera Kit with EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens Bundle and bought the EF 100/2.8 macro USM lens. Now the fun starts...trying to learn how to use everything! Here's a couple of beginner shots with the macro lens.

Looking good, I picked up a T4i last week. I went to the half price books store and found a book just on the t4i. I saw a few on the T3i as well. There is a lot to take in for sure....
