FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied diet of Vegetable matter, brown algae, dried Marine algae, frozen herbivore fare, spirulina, slices of zucchini, broccoli, formula 2 frozen cubes. Frozen meaty foods for planktivores. Feed 3 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Grazes on macroalgae, safe with most invertebrates, may nip large polyped corals.
CAPTIVE CARE - Needs plenty of swimming room and adequate hiding places, may be aggressive towards close relatives. Keep only one per tank, conspecifics will show aggression towards each other, good growth of microalgae is a plus, constant grazer, may jump out of an open top tank. Brown macroalgae a must in the diet.
