Recently installed LED's. One of my old lights was a 12" royal blue stunner strip. I would like to use this as a moon light at night, but have a couple of questions.
1. Is the 12", 24 LEDs (not sure of wattage, will look it up in a bit.), too much light?
2. Should it shine directly in to the water or can it just simply cast light into the tank?
3. Should it stay on all night, part of the night?
4. will it keep the fish awake?
5. Will it prevent nocturnal life from coming out?
6. I also have a magenta/blue strip. Could this be used as a moon light or will the magenta colour cause algae growth?
