looking for solution to overflowing my tank

I am installing a sump system in my tank but my tank is not drilled so I have a overflow box. One of the things that I am tring to figure how to prevent is when I lose power I will lose my siphion and when power comes back on the pump will drain the sump into the tank and onto the floor. Does anyone have any creative solutions to this problem

There are some overflow systems that are designed to startup automatically. I would check into how those thingies work
