Ok so I have a lot of ideas, prices, and links for equipment...now I need some help with information on live rock. I have found SO much out there and a lot of suggestions so I wanted to lay down a thread to get ideas from you all so that I can make a semi educated decision.:bowdown::bounce:

You can just buy some base rock from MarcoRocks and fill it in with live rock. You will save some $ buying dry rock and the live rock will help seed the dry. After a few months it will all look like live rock.

I seeded my tank with dry Texas holey rock and then added live rock. It has worked out great!! I like the holes in the holey rock. My starfish and feather dusters hide in them.
