Lighting Questions.

Ya got a table next to the tank. Its a corner tank very little room underneath and the fuge is a hob. The table is a dedicated only fish stuff table so no problems there. Already have a few clip on fans plus have a window ac in my room (where the tank is) It supplements the house ac to make sure I wont have any heating issues with the new lights.

Yeah one thing I noticed is that those MH give off a LOT of heat. I leave with windows closed and it's like I walked into a cold humid day in Florida. cold being upper 60's like 67 ish. but open the sliding door and it cools off nicely. Yeah with a fan on it, I wouldn't be too worried about it, just make sure the table stays dry. Those ballasts aren't icecaps and they look like what they are, Chinese made knock offs. oh and DON"T put them in a confined space. that would be no bueno!
