Lighting for new tank??

I have a 220gallon acrylic tank and plan to make it a reef tank. I have 175w MH on the ends and a 250w MH for the middle. I also have 2 VHO actinic bulbs. What other lighting should I get?

Should I replace the VHO with T5's or LED's?

Personally I would not replace a VHO with T5's. T5's are only HO rated so your getting more out of the "Very"HO's. Im estimating your current setup to be about 1150 watts total which would be about 5.2 watts per gallon, not too bad as is.

On the other hand LED's are awesome, but I wouldnt even want to know what it would cost you to setup LED's as your only lighting on a 220 gal tank :shock:
