Light leaking through bottom from Algae Skimmer

My Cave Goby (Gideon) has a nice cave dug under this one rock. It's his favorite cave. He has dug others but this one seems to be his home.

At night, when the DT lights are off and the algae scrubber lights are on, you can see the light leaking through the bottom glass.

Should I block this light? I was thinking about a thin sheet of polystyrene insulation which would also insulate it from the heat of the lamps.

Hahaha...that's pretty funny. But yeah, I'd block the light from underneath, for the fear of algae growing in that cave.
