FOODS AND FEEDING - Marine fish, crustacean flesh, mysid shrimp, frozen preparations. Feed min 2 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will occasionally pick at large polyped stony corals in captivity (a zooplankton feeder in the wild).
CAPTIVE CARE - Keep well fed in a reef aquarium, easy to keep and considered a beginners choice, will eat most foods, a varied diet of finely chopped seafood, live brine shrimp, fish roe are all enhancements for varied diet. Needs plenty of swimming room and nonaggressive tankmates, keep singly or in pairs, small groups are also acceptable when introduced at the same time in larger tanks, a peaceful fish that will not bother other tankmates. Coloration will fade from bright yellow to a dull coloration in captivity, diet including vitamin enriched and color enhancing foods may help keep the bright coloration.
