killer snails

I recently noticed one of my snails with a bunch of those tiny spiral shelled snails around it's opening. I know they will eat the mantle of clams but do they do the same with snails? In the picture you can see the snails on the bottom and left side of the big snail, Turbo I think? The snail is now dead and the tiny ones are gone.

Looks like some kind of Epitonium sp. which are predators.So it stands to reason that they would kill ang eat your turbos.

How do I get rid of them?

The only way I know of getting rid of em,is just picking em out as you see em.

They do look like pyramid snails -- predators.
