ok yesterday i got a peppermint shrimp because i have like 8 aiptimias (SP) and today when i got hiome from shcool i saw all my yellow watchman goby,clownfish,and sixline eating a dead pink shrimp what should i do to get the aiptismias out:frustrat:

there is a certain type and u have to ask for it buy name
(Lysmata wurdemanm) but after there gone u have to take them out cause they will eat ue other anomones

or u can inject them with sodium hydroxide but u have to make sure u inject directly in to the stem

another thing i noticed is that my sixline has been bitein the tubes that came of my nassarius snail

yes they do but I suggest not to. this is one of the specimens that is best left in the wild. very hard to keep even for the experienced aquarist.

Do not get a copperband butterfly...

Buy some kalkwasser and make a thick paste and smother the aiptasia. Or make a thick paste out of your salt and smother them with that. Or fill a syringe with boiling water and zap them. Or buy some more peppermint shrimp. There are lots of ways to get rid of them.

I would suggest killing one at a time with salt. You don't want to add too much of a concentrated salt paste all at the same time, or else you could change the salinity of your tank by too much.
