Just like the title says. I got a small zoo with about 10-15 polyps and when I took it out of the bag it smelt sooooo bad. I ended up putting it in my aquarium anyway and they are all starting to open and look real good. Their is a little bit of white slimmy stuff on the rock too. My peppermint shrimp has been eatin all the slime. Should I have not put it In my tank since it smelt so rotten?

Your fine, thats the smell of corals. The slime is their protective coat.
