Can someone please tell me what the green stuff in these pics are? Are they harmful to my tank?

brown stuff is diatoms and should go away on their own, they are very common in new tanks. The green stuff is hair algae and will take some work to get rid of it. Keep up with your water changes, dont over feed, dont add a bunch of new fish, and remove as much of it as you can by hand.

Yeah I had this inmy lil 6 gallon tank. I did a few extra water changes and picked most of it out by hand. Between water changes me picking outt and snails mine is gone.
