Is there a putty for adhering live rock?

Since I started by tank about 13 months ago Ive not heard anyone say they use a putty to adhere my live rock as its difficult to make the rock stay anchored where I put it.

Is there a putty for LR adherence?

There are several companies that offer a two part epoxy for reef tanks. I have used it with some success in the past, mostly for mounting corals to pieces of reef rubble

Zipties are another good idea.

You can also get regular old two part epoxy putty from the plumbing section of the hardware store. Make sure it says it's safe for potable water.

You can go to petsmart and get a thing of epoxy from the fish section for $6. Thats what I use and it works great!

Zipties are another good idea.

+1 .. are about the best thing
....and can be cut loose..
.. and are absolutely reef safe.!

.. just are a little clutzy to use.. but so is that so called epoxy stuff
