Initial set up

For the initial set up, do I need to treat water overnight, or can I treat 1/2 tank overnight and the rest for few hours? I'm setting up 110 gl. Thanks in advance!

When I set up my 180 I mixed what I could in advance, clean new trash can and five gallon buckets and then just mixed the rest as I needed it. No real need to treat overnight, because no livestock will be in the tank.

I use to live in Montgomery Village (Thomas Choice West, Brassie Way) for 18 years. Moved about 4 years ago to PA.

Thanks MikeG! Just got my 110gl last sunday and I'm hoping I could still save the beneficial bacteria in my live racks and filter. I have 10gl bucket thats been treated since sunday afternoon,hopefully still good. But I did test the salinity last night and still on the desirable level. So I think I can use this and mix the rest.
